Tabata workout: a style of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that involves 20 seconds of exercise at your maximum effort, followed by 10 seconds of rest, for a certain number of rounds. It is one of the most effective workouts in fat burning.
Each Tabata round lasts 4 minutes and involves eight intervals of 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest.
Note: not suitable for true beginners, hard to stick to.
Recommendation: 2-3 times a week.
